I am no longer at SILK and have permanently closed down Bloom Skin & Body. I am so grateful for the amazing clients that have followed me over the years, many of whom have become friends. Taking advantage of lockdown to do a heap of Zoom training with my fellow SILKies. Today we learned more about treating different skin conditions.

🐱 Cookie was unimpressed that mum was at home and not paying her enough attention 😂

Back in lockdown from midnight for 4 days (at this stage) so all appointments are cancelled until at least Saturday morning 😭

Once we are able to reopen, we will be in touch to reschedule all appointments booked from Tuesday to Friday.

The safety and well-being of our staff and clients is our primary concern, so please bare with us during this challenging time.

As inconvenient as they may seem, 'dems da rules, so please remember to wear your mask to your appointment. It can be removed DURING the treatment for any areas involving the face though.

✅ Please come alone to your appointments. Children, babies in prams, friends, spouses etc cannot be accommodated in our waiting areas or treatment rooms due to social distancing requirements.

✅ If you are unwell, please phone us BEFORE your appointment so we can reschedule you, and offer the spot to another client. Our number is (08) 9721 3042.

✅ We have a 48 hour cancellation policy and multiple reminders are sent via SMS and email. Inject deposits are forfeited if you do no provide adequate notice, and prepaid Skin or Lasee treatments will be redeemed for multiple late cancellations or no-shows.

✅ Please arrive ON TIME to appointments. If you arrive late, we will need to either reschedule or shorten your treatment. Do not arrive 20 mins late to a 10 min appointment and abuse our team for not being able to fit you in on the spot!

✅ The Reception team will ask you to sign in with either the SAFEWA App or using our manual register. This is a legal requirement for COVID tracing.

✅ Your Technician or Nurse will be wearing a mask during your treatment.

✅ We are required to use disposable bedding, so towels and pillows are not available. Our rooms are sanitised between every client and hand sanitiser is available in every room.

✅ If you are having any treatments involving your face, please arrive makeup-free where possible.

🤬 We have unfortunately had MANY people abuse our staff in the past few weeks because they did not like the rules we are required to abide by. Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated and you WILL be asked to leave the clinic.

Been dying to try out PDO threads for ages and finally did it today with Nurse Debbie at SILK Rockingham.

Already seeing a difference in my nasolabial folds, jawline and pre-jowls.

BTW, I'm a bruiser and have sensitive skin, so this looks way worse than it feels.

Discomfort level 4/10 during the treatment (slightly less than fillers but more injection points).

Cost is $599 for 50 threads and takes about 30 mins.

Numbing is applied beforehand to make it more comfortable for the patient.
