To say I was ‘cleaned-up and dumped’ five years ago is likely an understatement; to say that the last 15 months have been amongst the very worst of my life isn’t understating anything …

… and some people know what I’ve been through way before any of these recent events.

It’s all good - I’m not looking for hugs.

August 2024 I took delivery of my Coffee Jeep - my idillic business idea that was going to keep the wolf from the door.

These guys did a great job building it The Mobile Coffee Group

Since then the Jeep has virtually been garaged.

Three weeks after the jeep arrived I was admitted for emergency surgery and few days later a possible toe amputation.

Since then, it’s taken 9 months to save and heal my toe (I’m grateful) and another 4 surgical procedures over the last 15 months. The last two weeks ago - I’m still recovering.

There’s been few false starts, quite a few, but this weekend the coffee and camping began.

So what did I do besides bitch and moan and drive my wife up the wall for the last 15 months?

I learnt to make coffee.

If you know someone who needs a coffee - especially out bush - or where you’d least expect decent coffee to be - give me a yell 😉
