Fun Friday: State of Origin Dodgeball Showdown!
What better way to kick off the weekend than with a Queensland vs NSW dodgeball battle!
Students embraced the State of Origin rivalry, bringing plenty of energy, teamwork, and laughs as they ducked, dodged, and threw their way through an action-packed game in preparation for next weekβs big match.
A fantastic way to finish the week and build some school spirit β now the only question isβ¦ Maroons or Blues?

Machines are getting smarter.
The thing they can't do? Care.
Checking in, standing up, saying something and paying attention - that's human work, your work, and it matters now more than ever.
More than just a breakfast, this event was a celebration of connection, care and community.
Hosted by Kerri-Anne Dooley, State Member for Redcliffe, in partnership with Redcliffe State High School, the Chaplaincy Breakfast brought together local leaders, educators and supporters to recognise the important role school chaplains play in the lives of young people.
A special thank you to our incredible Hospitality students, who showcased their skills by preparing and serving a delicious breakfast with professionalism and pride. Their hard work and dedication helped make the morning a tremendous success.
School chaplains provide a safe and supportive presence for students, offering a listening ear, encouragement and hope when it's needed most. Through meaningful conversations and positive activities, they help create caring school communities where every young person feels seen, valued and supported.
Together, we celebrated the power of compassion, connection and the difference that caring adults can make in the lives of our students.

State Champions and State Selection!
Congratulations to our talented students Nat, Harmony and Yarra, who were part of the Sunshine Coast 15/16 Girls team that claimed the Gold Cup at the State Championships Rugby 7s over the weekend.
Nat had the honour of serving as co-captain, while Harmony and Yarra both played key roles in the teamβs outstanding success.
Adding to an already incredible weekend, Nat has also been selected in the Queensland Maroons Rugby 7s team and will compete at the ASSRU Nationals in early July at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
A special congratulations also goes to Harmony, who was awarded the Life Members Award Trophy. This prestigious honour recognises a player who epitomises the spirit of school rugby through commitment, integrity, resilience, teamwork and positivity. Harmonyβs dedication, encouragement of her teammates and willingness to continually improve made her a deserving recipient of this award.
Yarra was also recognised for her outstanding sportsmanship and leadership, receiving the Playersβ Player Award in the Grand Final, as voted by the opposition team β a wonderful testament to the respect she earned on and off the field.
Weβre incredibly proud of Nat, Harmony and Yarra for their achievements and wish Nat all the best as she represents Queensland on the national stage.
