Friends, family and the broader distilling community are invited to attend the funeral service of Damian, aka Noog, aka Howie to be held at the Great Northern Garden of Remembrance, 31 Tallowood Drive Deception Bay at 1.00pm on Friday 24th November 2023.
A celebration of Damian's life and achievements will follow, at a private venue.

Hi everyone. It is with the heaviest heart that I announce the tragic passing of Damian, Howies Handcrafted Barrels, on Wednesday 8th November.
He was loved by many, and will be extremely missed.
I understand that some of you may have orders outstanding, but if I could please ask you to bear with me during this difficult time, and I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can. If you can send the page a message, that will make it easier for me.

The vapour infuser worked a treat, it's now back in for a few tweaks before Danny is off to Taiwan for the world championship.
Let's hope that he can once again take out the world championship 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I thought I'd share this short video of a drink infuser that I designed and built for a local world champion barista ☕️
He is off to the Australian Coffee In Good Spirits championship (barrista/bartender) and if successful, he will be off to the world championship again 🙌
The infuser has different manifolds to suit different shaped/sized glasses 🙂

A little piece of Redcliffe history turned up at my workshop unexpectedly and by total accident -
The original Plauques from the Gayundah wreck at Woody Point.
luckily I have the tools and the means to supply the service which was required, happy days 🙂
These will be mounted on a new monument closer to the wreck site after originally being erected 62 years ago.
