She walked in very nervous… but also very clear on one thing - not wanting to walk out with brows she didn’t recognise. #

So we slowed everything right down!

Before any tattooing, we spent time mapping - step by step, checking every angle, every line, every detail. Nothing was rushed. She held the mirror the whole time, and we didn’t move forward until she genuinely loved the shape I had created.

As this clients brows naturally sat differently, the design wasn’t about making them identical, it was about creating balance.
So I gently lifted her right brow to open and elevate the face, and softened the left by bringing it slightly down and adding more structure through the body and tail.

Once the shape felt right, I layered in soft shading, just enough to fill in the sparseness and give that soft, powdery finish.

No harsh edges, no heavy blocks… just a natural enhancement that works with her features, not against them.

This was only her first session! Over the next 6–8 weeks, everything will settle - the colour will soften, the skin will heal, and she’ll get to live in them a little. When she comes back for the touch-up, we can refine anything she wants. Whether that’s a slight colour adjustment, tweaking the arches, or perfecting the tails.

This beautiful client left feeling relieved, excited… and most importantly, confident!

Now she’s due for her 6–8 week touch up - and here’s why that step is so important. Lips shed so much skin after session 1, which means some of that pigment sheds right along with it. The touch up is where we put the colour back in, lock in pigment retention, make any changes she might want (bolder colour, more saturation, a bolder lip line, or keep the same results but just make sure it lasts long) and cement everything we built in that first session.

Think of session 1 as the foundation - the touch up is the finish coat.
