Eligible Victorians can apply for 20% off 2025/2026 vehicle registration payments. ENDS 31st JULY 2026

You need to apply online through the Services Victoria website or app. It's not automatic. You'll have to create an account if you don't have one. You will need an email address that you can access at the time of creating the Services Victoria account. If you don't have an email or don't want to create an account you can contact Services Victoria on 132 842, then press 1, press 4, press 1.

Whether you apply on line or call them you will need the following:
Registration Number, License Number, Account Details.
You can apply for 2 light passenger vehicles per person.

Most payments are processed within 30 days of lodging your claim with payments made directly into your bank account.

🚗🛻🚙VEHICLE REGISTRATION REBATE🚗🛻🚙

From Monday 1st June to Friday 31st July 2026 Victorians can apply for a 20% rebate on light vehicle registration payments for 2025-26, saving up to $186 per vehicle. Pensioners who already get a discount can apply as well.

Eligible personal vehicles include cars, station wagons, motorcycles, utes, and vans. You can claim a maximum of 2 cars per person.

Applications will be open from Monday 1st June to Friday 31st July 2026. Apply via the Services Victoria app or website. You will need to provide your registration and bank account details.

If you need help applying drop into the Neighbourhood House, Tuesday to Thursday between 9am- 4:30pm and Julie will help you apply.
