At the start of this year I decided to make some big changes in my life.

I’ve lost 30kg, haven’t had a drink since January 2026, and most importantly, I feel like I’ve got my energy, motivation and enjoyment for life back.
I feel better physically, but the biggest changes have been mentally. I’m enjoying my work again, I’m more present with my family, and I’m feeling proud of the person I’m becoming.
Now I’m taking on my next challenge — the Kokoda Track.
In just 2 weeks, on October 4th, I’ll be heading off to walk one of the toughest and most significant tracks in Australian history.
It’s going to test me physically and mentally, but that’s exactly why I wanted to do it. This journey has taught me that sometimes you need to push yourself outside your comfort zone to find out what you’re really capable of.
I also wanted this challenge to be about more than just me.
As part of my Kokoda journey, I’m raising money for Breakthrough Mental Health Foundation, helping support mental health and wellbeing in our community.
