A spontaneous dinner at Chianti, we have been meaning to try this Adelaide classic forever and are glad we did....

The food was absolutely delicious, the place had a fantastic feel sitting outside in the hubbub of fringe time and the friendly staff had great knowledge of coeliac disease. They even had gluten free bread rolls to start the meal off right! The menu is expensive but not unlike other finer dining venues up Leigh st end of town so go ready to make it a special occasion and you can't go wrong.

Such an amazing array of food this year at my Christmas with everyone making a special effort to be coeliac friendly and no gluten poisoning occurred, huzzah!

Hope your Christmas was delicious, fun and without gluten poisoning!!

Rice and vegetables, no better staple.

This baked dish is nutritious, delicious and naturally gluten free and vegan.

Baked it in the oven with herbs, spices and preserved lemon and you've got yourself a easy and tasty meal!

Apple, cinnamon and walnut bun.

Soft white bread filled with stewed apple and cinnamon and topped with icing and walnuts. So freaking delicious I want two.

Feasting

After posting about gaja and my great experience with their service for coeliacs a while back, my mum got a gift voucher for my sister and I. So here we are, back again and enjoying the explosion of flavours that is

Some new stuff on the menu so highly recommend a revisit even if you've been before!

Delicious, fresh, fragrant....vegan and coeliac friendly!

Yum.

I'm so chuffed with this loaf.

Fruit and nut sourdough - took about 3 days to be ready from starter to finish 😉

Day 1, mix loaf and leave to rise in bowl
Day 2, move gently to banneton basket to rise some more
Day 3, bake it in the Dutch oven!

Worth every moment and honestly actual time doing anything was about 20 mins, the rest was just waiting for nature to rise me up a delicious loaf!

Rustic Italian vibe, delicious sparkling wine and handmade gluten free gnocchi has it all!

Utilising produce from Ngeringa farm in Nairne so everything is fresh and flavoursome. Plus the staff have great knowledge of cross contamination and really look after you, it's so refreshing to eat out with such confidence and what a pleasure to be able to enjoy such a delicious and stress free meal!
