Wednesday morning and the Retail Fest comedown is officially here.

The group chats have gone quiet.
The out of office replies are off.
And everyone’s back pretending to answer emails like they didn’t spend the last week on the Gold Coast making deals, sharing ideas and running on caffeine and adrenaline.

Retail Fest 2026 was a reminder of how powerful this industry is when people get in the same room.

Over the past few days we saw retailers, brands, suppliers and industry leaders come together to have real conversations about growth, innovation, AI, customer experience, leadership and where retail is heading next. But more importantly, we saw genuine relationships being built everywhere you looked.

To every speaker who shared their story, every delegate who travelled in, every exhibitor who brought the energy, and every sponsor and partner who helped make the week possible — thank you.

Events like this only work because of the people behind them. The support from the retail community continues to grow every year and we never take that for granted.
