BUICK SUPER EIGHT
Look at this chunky but funky lady, we saw "Clementine" parked up in a sydney side road looking mean as you like!
The super ran from the 40's through into the 60's and was replaced by the Riviera in '64 but did you know that Buick resurrected the "Super Eight" name on a couple of their V8 trimmed sedans in the late noughties.
Let us know what you think of Clementine, are you a Buick fan!?

HOLDEN FB UTE
The Ute is synonymous with Australia but did you know modern Utes differ from a US pick up because they have a quarter window behind the drivers/passengers side window.
Would you still work a classic Ute like this or do you think it should be put into retirement, we think this little FB is happy as Larry that he's still on the road, look at that face!
Let us know what your favourite Ute is and are you a Holden or Ford fan!?

Datsun 280 Z/X
Datsun/Nissan's second generation Z car. The Z range replace the string of Fairlady cars in Europe and America, it was more of a GT car than an open top sports car.
This sorry state of a 280 Z/X was spotted in Alexandria parked next to a building site down a dead end road.. we've never wanted to adopt a car more, with its brown paint and rusty holes but still with the big happy eyes he was crying out to be loved!
Second and third generations Z cars caused controversy as many feel Nissan was missing the point that it had intended and successfully hit with its first Gen, a fast but affordable GT sports car for anyone.. from that point on the Z cars got heavier, slower and more luxurious appealing to the big wigs of the US and with the 80's boom it turned out to be the perfect move for Nissan selling record numbers!
What do you think, lost what made it what it was or benefited from a needed luxury upgrade.. either way this car is undeniably 80's and we think it's super cool!

Chrysler Valiant
In the early 60's Chrysler launched Chrysler Australia and this quirky car was the result. The chassis was taken from American Chrysler but the rest of the car was manufactured in Aus and few managed to get overseas to Europe and South Africa. Chrysler got rid of the fins and lumps and bumps and folds fairly quickly and opted for a simpler boxier design which was of the movement of all American cars.
We spotted this in Mosman and was looking a little neglected and as much as it's not to our taste it's a pretty interesting car.
What do you think, looks cool or looks a fool? Comment and let us know.
