Wedding skin update 💗

Reflecting back on my skin on my wedding day.
Not to sound cliche but my skin on the weeks leading up to my wedding was the best I had honestly ever looked.

I had a quite a fair few stressors leading up to the wedding day so I can not admit my cortisol and stress hormones were totally relaxed, I had a 6 day a late period, but yet I stuck to my simple skin plan and healthy diet.

What did I focus on?
Monthly SkinPens from January (4 in total)
A gentle lactic peel and LED every 3rd week
Four weeks prior - Anti Wrinkle.
The two weeks leading up to the wedding: Triwave LED 2-3 times a week
The week of the wedding, enzyme treatment and LED.

My at home routine is simple, I’m really not into the 6 step skin care life.

I try to drink up to three litres of water a day, minimised my intake of processed foods and sugars. Not only was my skin feeling amazing, I’ve had no bloating. For someone with IBS this is a game changer

As a practitioner I am aware not everyone’s skin will react the same to what someone else follows. We are all individuals and unique, your skincare routine and in clinic treatments need to follow the same sentiment.

I thought it was about time I introduced myself, a lot of you already know who I am (and all the ins and outs of my life) but I’ve had a few new followers recently so I thought I’d show my face and say hi 👋🏼

I’m Sophie, originally from England but have been living in Sydney for over 8 years. I’ve been a beauty therapist for 15 years, specialising in brows for 10 and have had my business for nearly 3.

For those of you that haven’t met me, I love to get to know all my clients whilst doing their brows and lashes, so expect lots of talking! However if you want to come in and relax that’s allowed too 😂

I feel so grateful for how far my business has come, and I wouldn’t be anywhere without my lovely loyal clients. Thank you so much for keeping me busy, and I hope to see some new faces soon.

POWDER / OMBRÉ BROWS

What are they? A lot of you are asking so here’s a short explanation:

It’s a type of semi permanent makeup using a tattoo machine, gradually building up tiny pixels into the skin to reveal a soft powdered finish.

Brows will look warm & dark for the first two weeks whilst healing, then you’ll need to come back after 5-6 week for your perfection visit. Once healed after your second visit the results will last for 1-2 years before you’ll need them touched up.

This technique is suitable for skin types & has longer-lasting results than microblading/feathering.
