Living on the other side of the globe from most of loved ones does not affect my love for helping create rocking parties. I cant help it- Its just my passion and such a stress buster. This is the set-up done by my childhood bestie Varsha for little Urviโ€™s third birthday following my plan and instructions to the tee. It took us about two weeks of collaboration, endless phone calls and whatsapp messages to bring this together. Oh the pain I made her undergo to drive to the stores repeatedly to find the right material- All worth it at the end to see that mid smile on Urviโ€™s face.

I illustrated the concept first on my sketch book along with a to- do list. I designed party printables to match the theme. Varsha bought required raw materials. Since I lived in America briefly, I knew where to source materials, therefore was easy enough to guide her. She carefully crafted the back board, which is the main backdrop for the decor. She then printed all the printables, and decorated the backboard to suit the theme. We used printables pretty much to tie the whole party together- on water bottles, chocolates, cup cake toppers and of course return gift bags. This talented mum makes cakes and cupcakes for Urvi every year, and so she did this year too, and just did not disappoint

The highlight I was told is that Urvi herself pasted the thank you labels on the return gift bags. It was great engaging activity for her, I believe she had loads of fun and repeatedly kept asking โ€œMumma can I do moreโ€ even after she finished doing all the bags. Lol- you have to wait for one more year baby. Until next timeโ€ฆ.with Varsha Rau Biyyala

Which kid doesnโ€™t love candies or icecreams? A really quick set-up for darling Iraโ€™s 4rth birthday party. Iraโ€™s mum is a true party mum, and she came up with this gorgeous candy land idea a night before the party and all credit to my girl friends here, we sat together for few hours and set this up with whatever supplies we could get hold off in mammaโ€™s party treasure stash. This is such a simple diy set-up but had an eye catching impact on all kids ๐Ÿ˜Š

If you ever want to do a similar set up, supplies you need are: Balloons, balloon pump, transparent wrap, some ribbon to tie the balloons, tissue paper to make pom poms and some card board to make cones. Happy to answer any questions you may have ๐Ÿ˜Š
