📢 A quick reminder about our new ticket system on Sunday, 19 July!

We’ve introduced the ticket system because the previous queueing process had started causing significant stress for both our volunteers and organisers. The long lines were becoming increasingly difficult to manage, and it was clear the old approach was no longer working effectively for the community or the team.

This new system is simply where we’re at; a practical step to create a calmer, safer and more organised experience for everyone who relies on the Food Bank. We appreciate your patience and kindness as we trial this process and make improvements where needed.

📢 Point Cook Food Bank Update.

We're pleased to let everyone know that the Point Cook Food Bank will reopen on Sunday, 19 July.

To make the experience fairer, safer and more organised for everyone, we'll be introducing a new ticket system. This will still be based on a while stocks last policy.

🎟️ How it works:

- Ticket distribution starts at 12:30 pm and will strictly end at 1.00pm only.

- Simply collect a numbered ticket when you arrive.

- Customers will be called in random order using their ticket number.

We've introduced this system to create a calmer environment and to reduce the issues that sometimes occurred with long queues. We ask everyone to please be patient, respectful and kind to our volunteers and to one another.

As this is a new process, there may be a few teething issues while we get things running smoothly. We appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation as we make this change.
