ACMC Class 2026 - Continuation on the topic of Counseling. Now a new lesson on "Marriage and Family Counseling".

Part 1 is looking into the God's design for marriage, the role of Husband and Wife, and understanding the Common Marital Problems and approach to counseling process.

Ephesians 5:22-33
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[b] 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Today's IAFB AU Pastors Bible Study, now in 1 Timothy 4:1-5 with Ptr Evelyn as our facilitator. Let us continue to be faithful in the Word of God entrusted to us to preach and teach them in its purity, sanctity, and authority.

1 Timothy 4:1-5
1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

Pastors Bible Study Tonight on 1 Timothy 3:8-16 - The Character of a Servant. This is an important instruction for the Church to make sure that leaders and elders conduct in the character exemplified by:

(1) The Great Shepherd [in 1 Tim 3:1-7] and
(2) The Great Servant [in 1 Tim 3:8-13],

no other than our Lord Jesus Christ. Lead and Serve with zealousness and full obedience to God, in Spirit and in Truth!

1 Timothy 3:14-15
I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.

Today's Bible Study in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 on Leadership Characteristics Of An Overseer with Pastor Joel as the Facilitator.

It is the aim of every Bishop, Pastor, or Elder of the church to uphold in this character defined by the Sacred Scriptures in the whole duration of their ministry appointment. It may be hard for us to comply, but that is why we need the Helper - our God the Holy Spirit, to bring this character into our lives to reflect the Great Shepherd's character in us.

1 Timothy 3:1-7
1 The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. 2 Therefore an overseer[a] must be above reproach, the husband of one wife,[b] sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, 5 for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.
