Today was 6km easy run
I felt good and decided to push the last 2 kms while still maintaining my heart rate under 140 bpm (average)

15 week Sydney Marathon Training
Run slower to run longer and faster. Something I always struggle to follow. But determined to do it the right way with this training plan.
Very happy my first run , long run for the week was done at a slower pace than what I normally do. My average heart rate was around 125 bpm, even though I finished strong in the last km.
I will be sharing my training and journey for the next 15 weeks. I hope anyone who wants to take up running can benefit from this.

Been on and off with weight training for a really long time. I am in the process of preparing for my first-ever full marathon (In August). I decided to also get back into weight training to complement my running. My kms per week have been gradually increasing. The weight training target is to do it at least 3 times a week. Hoping to stay consistent with weight training from this week.
It is tough work. I enjoy the process and the pain :-)
Needless to say , my abs session did not go as planned

Doing my first full marathon in August in Sydney. Got back onto weight training after a really long time.
Thanks to my new gym partner (my fur baby), it's a bit more enjoyable
