❄️ A mixed bag of results in another winter weekend for the Aviators! ✈️⚾

The weather played its part this weekend, with both our Women's team and D Grade washed out, while Rookie Ball enjoyed another fun Friday night under the lights.

A special shoutout to Lewie, who collected his first hit of the season! 👏⚾ Moments like these are what junior sport is all about, and we couldn't be prouder.

The highlight of the weekend came from our U15 Juniors, who secured their first win of the season. The result is a reward for the effort and persistence the team has shown all year.

Our U13s faced a strong GMBC Black side, while the D Grade Reserves went down by the narrowest of margins, falling 6-5 in a hard-fought contest.

Win, lose or washout, it's great to see our Aviators continuing to improve, support each other and enjoy their baseball.

✈️ Built for Winter. Grounded. Never. 💙🤍

What a fantastic weekend of baseball at the All-Girls Tournament in Werribee! ⚾️

A huge congratulations to our Aviators junior girls who proudly represented our club and embraced the opportunity to play alongside and against girls from across Victoria. We are incredibly proud of the way you competed, supported your teammates, and represented the Aviators.

A special thank you to Andrew and Tania for all their work behind the scenes organising the tournament and creating this wonderful opportunity for young players. Events like these don’t happen without the dedication of volunteers, so we’d also like to thank all the coaches, scorers, team managers, umpires, and supporters who gave up their time to make the weekend such a success.

Opportunities like the All-Girls Tournament play an important role in growing girls’ and women’s baseball. They provide a welcoming environment for players to develop their skills, build confidence, create friendships, and see a pathway for themselves in our game.

Thank you to everyone involved in making the weekend such a memorable experience. The future of girls’ and women’s baseball is bright, and we’re excited to see it continue to grow. 💙✈️
