The new standard in early skin cancer detection
WA’s first Canfield VECTRA WB360 Scanner

Australia is no. 1 in the world. But it isn’t where we want to be.

According to IARC/WHO GLOBOCAN 2022 estimates, Australia has the highest age-standardised cancer incidence rate globally, at 462.5 cases per 100,000 people.
And skin cancer is part of that picture.

Our skin gives us something many cancers don’t: the ability to see it, document it and monitor it for change.
That creates an opportunity to take action.

Protect your skin from UV exposure. Know what is normal for you.
Pay attention to new or changing lesions.
Have concerns assessed.
And where appropriate, document your skin over time so changes can be more readily identified.

At VARDYN, 3D total body imaging and digital dermoscopy allow us to create a detailed record of your skin that can support comparison and monitoring over time.

Because when it comes to your skin, change matters.

Some conversations are too important to put off.

Life gets busy, appointments get pushed back, and the things we mean to do often become the things we forget.

If this reel made you think of someone, a parent, partner, friend or family member, send it to them. Not to scare them, but as a simple reminder to finally book a skin check and gain that reassurance.

At VARDYN, we combine advanced 3D total body imaging, digital dermoscopy and specialist clinical expertise to document your skin over time.

Because when it comes to early detection, the smallest details can matter.

One message.
One conversation.
One skin check.

It could save their life.

The question isn’t whether you have moles. It’s whether you’d recognise if one had changed.

Most changes happen gradually, making them difficult to notice or remember from memory alone.

That’s why documenting your skin over time matters. At VARDYN, advanced 3D skin imaging records the size, shape, border and colour of individual lesions, creating a detailed baseline that can be compared over time.

Because when it comes to your skin, it’s often the smallest details that matter most.

A conversation with Aven from West Perth Football Club about footy, training under the WA sun and why skin health deserves more attention among young athletes.

Between training sessions, game days and everyday life outdoors, footballers can spend countless hours exposed to the sun. But when you are young, fit and focused on performance, checking and monitoring your skin can easily feel like something to worry about later.

Aven visited VARDYN to experience a different approach to skin surveillance, combining advanced total-body 3D imaging, detailed dermoscopy and clinical assessment to create a comprehensive record of his skin.

The scan captures and maps visible lesions across the body, documenting details such as their location, size, shape and colour. This creates a baseline that can be used to help monitor the skin and identify changes over time that may not be easy to remember or recognise by looking in the mirror alone.

Because knowing your skin is not about waiting until something looks obviously wrong. It is about understanding what is normal for you, creating a record and making skin health part of the same proactive mindset used for training, recovery and performance.

A conversation we hope encourages more young people, especially those who spend much of their lives outdoors, to start paying attention to their skin now, not later.

Your performance gets tracked. Your progress gets measured. Your skin can be monitored too.

What if every lesion could be mapped and tracked over time?

What if magnification revealed what the naked eye couldn’t?

What if you could see every spot on your back?

What if every detail could be captured?

What if you could see your skin in 3D?

You can.

VARDYN combines advanced imaging technology with specialist clinical assessment to provide a more detailed view of your skin, helping document and monitor changes over time.

This is the new standard in early skin cancer detection.

We’ve entered a new era of skin assessment.

Technology can now capture an incredible level of detail, allowing us to view skin lesions with advanced imaging and magnification that goes beyond what the naked eye can see.

But technology is only one part of the process. Every image is interpreted alongside specialist clinical assessment, because understanding the bigger picture matters.

The future of skin checks isn’t tomorrow. It’s here.
