In case you haven’t noticed I have been painting a lot of beach paths and yes here is another one for the collection.

I often want to take my dog down to this side because it’s nicer, out of the wind and I could probably get the dog in for a dip without her getting dumped in the shore-break But of course I’m too much of a goodie toshoes and I’m afraid I’ll get told off! So I don’t, and we go on the dog side, and get dumped instead. 🤭

This path is located in Trigg, path ST54, Benton Beach and is titled, “Hey that’s not the dog beach!” Oil on canvas, 22x30cm.

Yallingup is such an interesting and dynamic beach. It's calm turquoise lagoon is encased by a slither of reef where the momentum of the deep indian ocean swells come to a dramatic end. Just beautiful with many vantage points and moods worth painting. More studies to follow including some that capture the surf scene of this spot.
