Women's health has a huge impact on workplace productivity, retention, sick leave. That's why we love bringing health education into the workplace, like we recently did for The Law Society of Western Australia with a series of talks on menopause, stress, endometriosis and hormones. These sessions always spark so much learning, plenty of ah-ha moments, and the most open, engaging conversations! 💫

Coercive control – 'a thousand acts of learning to shrink'.
When we understand coercive control, and see it for what it is, the more we can start to lower the rates of family and domestic violence. 🧡
This is why harm-minimisation, safe spaces and support can heal addiction 🧡
Huge kudos to Karen for speaking out about this topic and running our incredible alcohol and other drug program – where women come together in a safe space to share stories, connect and work on addiction behaviours and habits.

Reconciliation isn't a once-a-year event. It isn't what's written on a RAP plan.
It's how we show up every single day. It's how we infuse cultural safety, safe spaces, and true reconciliation into our services for Aboriginal women, children, and communities.
Today was a poignant reminder that walking alongside First Nations peoples, championing their stories and voices, and building a better future together isn't just something we continue — it's something we must keep stepping up.
Thank you Reconciliation WA for the space, the truth-telling, and the reminder of why this work is urgent, necessary and full of meaning – we are ALL IN 🖤❤️💛

To the Stolen Generations, and to Aboriginal women, children, and communities — we are truly sorry. We see the grief, the trauma, and the strength it takes to carry it.
Today we heard incredible stories of hardship, struggle and of systems that have consistently failed Aboriginal people. But also of incredible resilience, of love for culture and community, and of what it takes to keep going.
Thank you Michelle Nelson-Cox and Rozy Bynder from the South West Land and Sea Council for trusting us to share your stories, and working tirelessly so Aboriginal people have the same opportunities as everyone else.
A big shout out to Kuditj Kitchen for feeding us today – Perth's only Aboriginal owned and operated catering facility.
🖤❤️💛

Gut-brain disorders, neurodiversity, and eating disorders often overlap – but they're rarely addressed together.
Our Body Esteem Program team attended the WAEDOCS Symposium 2026 to learn all about this, with other experts and lived experience. 💛
We left with tools to better support our neurodiverse clients (simple things like lighting adjustments to address sensory challenges and asking clients what they need make a big difference) as well as focusing on whole-person, multidisciplinary care – a value that's already deeply rooted in all Luma services.
Thank you North Metropolitan Health Service!

Painful periods are common, but they're not normal.
So many women cancel plans and suffer with pain every month – not knowing a diagnosis, treatment plan and health knowledge can change that. 🧡🩺
If your period gets in the way of life, it's worth talking to an expert! Our women's health GPs and nurses are in Northbridge, Joondalup and Shenton Park.

The 2026-27 federal budget — what it means for women in WA 👇
There are some real wins in this budget. Better access to healthcare, stronger protections against abuse, and more support for working mothers... Real progress worth knowing!
But there's still a long way to go — out-of-pocket health costs remain high, demand for family violence services is outpacing funding, and women continue to carry a disproportionate financial load at every stage of life.
Here's a brief summary of what's changed for women's health, swipe through. 🧡
