When most people think of sewing patterns, they picture shoe boxes full of crumbled cheap pattern paper, and hours spent deciphering complex instructions that make trigonometry look easy. And all for bland derivative designs. We want to change all that. Megan Nielsen patterns are designed with you in mind. Each pattern includes a gorgeous fashion forward design printed on sturdy paper and easy to follow illustrated instructions, ideas and sketches for how to customize the design to be even more unique. Our patterns are made to last, and can be used over and over again! We love fashion, and we don't believe that handmade apparel should be any less stylish than ready to wear. Actually we think it should be better. This is where you make fashion and sewing is cool.

I miss what the online sewing community used to be. Instagram is broken, and it broke the sewing community.
But I think we can recapture the magic, and be the community again that we once knew and loved.
