It was too nice a day to sit at home. After 28km for dragging the side scan around looking for something( and seeing nothing but reef and sand ) we stopped past something we knew was there.
An old oil well in 42m with the pipe standing vertical 4m with a length of pipe on the seafloor.

Our 2nd group of Orcas in a week one group off Rottnest the other off Kalbarri. Yes we ran up north for a quick job but are back again now. Both groups didn't have much interest in the boat as we think they had dinner on the cards.

Conditions were pretty good on the way in from Direction Bank last Sunday ( 20 miles west of Hillarys) . Amazing fish life, 20-25m vis and 21 degrees in the water
