Huge weekend for CTRC riders and horses. Six of our riders attended the Special Olympic National Games Camp at Woodman Point and this morning 15 riders and our horses competed at hacking, jumping and some dressage at Perth Horse and Pony Club June Show.
What an effort!

Part Time Instructor Position Available:
At CTRC based in Mt Claremont we are currently looking for a Part-Time Instructor to join our team and give M'Liss a hand. We are looking for an applicant with PC or EA accreditation that possesses solid horse experience and knowledge and has good communication skills and customer service orientation. Classes are during the week and include beginner classes and intermediate rider group classes from 2.00pm to possibly 6pm. Currently looking for one or 2 half days per week with possibility to expand for the right applicant.

INSTRUCTOR/S WANTED
At Claremont Therapeutic Riding Centre, we are seeking a passionate and experienced qualified riding instructor to join our small, close-knit team. As an instructor you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to riders of all ages and abilities mostly in group lessons. We hold a range of classes and activities for riders of all abilities and additional Pony Club and Special Olympic programs. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our clients while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
• Conducting group riding lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of each rider
• Evaluating rider progress and providing constructive feedback
• Ensuring the safety of horses and riders at all times
• Preparing horses for lessons and playing an active role in their health and welfare
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, parents, volunteers and staff members
• Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations
What we’re looking for
• Minimum of five years of experience in horsemanship and horse training
• Preferable to have a history of strong riding skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and working with horses
• Working With Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Coaching qualification ((EA/PC/RDA/HP/ BHSI or an equivalent certification)

• A part-time or casual coaching position with a competitive salary
• Negotiable roster Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend day
