POV: You reach your 40s and realise you donโt need to explain yourself to everyone.
This new week, Iโm choosing peace over proving, wisdom over reaction, and purpose over unnecessary noise.
I used to think strength meant speaking up, defending myself, and making sure people understood my side.
But with age comes perspective.
Iโve learned that I donโt need everyone to understand me.
I donโt need to react to everything.
I donโt need to win every argument.
And I definitely donโt need to prove my point to everyone.
Some things simply arenโt worth my energy.
Sometimes, I know what I knowโฆ and that is enough. ๐ค
