Refitting Paul’s engine up after his boat has undergone a transom strengthen and a fresh coat of paint. As the engine was previously cavitating with no room to drop the engine we have made sure the engine drill holes were redrilled 25mm lower by the fiberglasser (Dan from Nauticoat). All done and back to Paul to finish wiring ready for summer. 👌🏼💪🏼

This one came to me with electrical issues and not being able to crank the engine properly. Upon a detailed inspection multiple issues were found with the battery cabling. The main issue is that someone has used a Stanley knife to cut the outer shield off and cut through the wire sheath thus allowing salt water to get in. As you can see the green death has taken that section of battery cable out and it was very hard to spot. I also had wiring not correctly crimped into the lugs which you can see pulled out and also heat shield overlapping the battery terminal mating surface.

All sorted correctly and back on the water for this one!

This 50hp Honda 4 stroke in for a big birthday after a few years of no maintenance. Major service, snapped bolt extraction, fuel flush, carb overhaul and retune all ready to go for summer!

Lucky this one was in for a service after sitting for so long without use. She would’ve overheated and killed the engine without a doubt. Water pump failure at its best!

A few pics of a baby 8hp Yamaha getting some well overdue love. Major service, new thermostat and a blocked carb all rectified and soon to be back with its owner.

A bit more on the Yamaha 70hp that required a full carb overhaul, rectification on a seized carbs, a new head/cover assembly set up and bolt extraction. She’s all done and it had it’s first run on the water back with the owners today with a glowing report back on how well it’s now running.
