It's a bit cold, wet and windy in Perth this week. If you are lucky enough to be up North, where it's warmer, you can catch Arlene May at Froth Craft Brewery - Exmouth on Thursday, Cadillac's Bar & Grill Exmouth on Saturday and Potshot Hotel Resort on Sunday. Or you'll find Hippy Campers at Whalebone Brewing Company on Friday and Bill's Bar, Ningaloo Coral Bay on Sunday. Finlay's Kalbarri has the always popular Ian Weggler Music this Sunday. If you're in Perth, rug up, stay warm, and dream about a trip up North, but do try to get out and catch some live music anyway - dancing will keep you warm.

So Winter arrived early last Sunday with horrendous winds and rain. It was a long weekend which makes this a short week, so I'm super busy! Dean Haitani continues his NW tour - this week he's at Whalebone Brewing Company on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Johnny David Music will be at Shark Bay Hotel this Friday, Whalebone Brewing Company on Saturday and Bill's Bar, Ningaloo Coral Bay on Sunday. Arlene May will be at The Whereaway Tavern in Eneabba on Friday, and at Finlay's Kalbarri on Sunday. Hippy Campers play at Onslow Beach Resort on Saturday, and at Exmouth Yacht Club on Sunday. At least they'll have nicer weather up there than we are having in Perth at the moment. Don't let a little rain stop you from enjoying some live music this weekend.

After the last 3 weeks being really busy with school holidays and ANZAC Day, this week is a chance to catch my breath, being really quiet gig-wise, with just a couple of Sunday sessions. Finlay's Kalbarri has Geoff Udy this Sunday, and Arlene May will be at Bill's Bar, Ningaloo Coral Bay. It gets a bit busier the following week as the Northern dry season brings on the NW tours. My garden is enjoying the rain in Perth, so I'll have some weeding to catch up on.

Well we made it through the first week of school holidays. The road to Coral Bay has opened up, and Exmouth appears to be recovering nicely from the effects of cyclone Narelle. This week, Earl Cole Music Events will entertain the tourists at RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort on Monday and Wednesday, then he pops over to Denham to play at Shark Bay Hotel on Friday, and Heritage Resort on Saturday. Arlene May will be at Potshot Hotel Resort in Exmouth on Tuesday, then at Cadillac's Tavern on Wednesday, and again on Saturday. Finlay's Kalbarri has Darcy Hay - songwriter on Thursday, Easy Pickin's duo on Friday & Saturday, and Michaelwardmusic on Sunday. Michaelwardmusic will also be at Jurien Bay Hotel Motel on Saturday. At Yanchep Sports & Social Club you'll find Damien Wicks on Friday. Kalbarri Motor Hotel has Johnny David Music this Saturday & Sunday to finish off the school holidays. School holidays - such a busy time in the regions! With most of the roads open now, and the rest due to open soon, we hope the cyclone damage is not too bad in most areas, and tourists can once again visit the lovely destinations up the Coral Coast. Rick Twine is at RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort till Wednesday, then at Shark Bay Hotel on Friday, and (pending the opening of the road to Exmouth) he will be at Froth Craft Brewery - Exmouth on Saturday and finally at Bill's Bar, Ningaloo Coral Bay on Sunday. Finlay's Kalbarri has Johnny David Music on Monday & Tuesday, Arlene May on Wednesday & Thursday, Hippy Campers on Friday & Saturday, and Earl Cole Music Events on Sunday.
