Can’t deny that its name, ULURU was borrowed for its rusty colour. But it slowly grew into this name and became rather symbolic.

A unity that we crave but we don’t know how to get there? Our ways and thinking are different and we can’t understand each other’s perspective? We see every step closer to one another as threatening? I believe it all depends on the narrative. No matter what we do, if those percepting us want to thread our little beads on a negative narrative, we will quickly have plenty of enemies as the negative narrative spreads like wildfire.

Sure a hat will help not much in correcting history. But the strip of stars on this hat beneath everything covers all of us like the Milky Way do, and we all historically connected to it even if in different or already forgotten ways. Many people had forgotten a lot. Some people were obsessed surpassing their own ancestors to the moment they forgot most of it. Not very fortunate. Narratives about who has more or who has less, these all are just a matter of what perspective we choose to look at it from.

The distressed, stretched out leather under the ribbon of stars is tearing apart slowly like all of us, especially all lands in the world, the soft felt holds it together only because it is joined by some (positive looking 🤓) beads to be a symbol of positive narrative. Stress, responded with kindness and softness as the only way we can gain strength and accept one another.

If we learnt to hate someone, whatever they do, the narrative will be beaded onto the negative thread. I don’t deny that there are at times outright bad intentions, and then yes, we should not take the honey-trap. But good luck for all to distinct honey-traps from olive branches, and to stop the negative-narrative-beading when it has no base, function or benefit and most likely serves someone who benefits from the artificially created division. “Divide and conquer” Or “Unite and prosper”? We all have to be very strong to actually understand which is what. And I wish you to receive many warm hugs to make you stronger. 💫
