Bridging the timeless wisdom of the centuries-old strategic thinking with the demands of the future.
18/05/2026
Join Dr Silvia Lozeva and the FACCI - French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry for a morning workshop on the 17th June that uses the ancient game of Go to completely reshape how we think about strategy.
For centuries, the Go game was used by thinkers and leaders to master complex decision-making. We're bringing those timeless tools out of the history books and onto the modern table to help teams collaborate, connect, and grow.
Instead of looking at business as a series of battles to win, Silvia introduces a philosophy called "mutual life." It's a shift away from conflict and toward balance looking at how the different areas of our lives and work (health, team dynamics, community) connect to support one another.
By exploring the 10 Golden Rules of Go, you will walk away with fresh perspectives on problem-solving and a real sense of the bigger picture.
What we will dive into together:
Wellbeing & Balance: Finding harmony between high performance and staying grounded.
Stronger Teams: Building trust and understanding across different cultures and backgrounds.
Human-Centred Leadership: Navigating change and uncertainty with confidence and creativity.
Only 20 spaces available, book yours through the link below.

Can a 4,000-year-old game solve modern social isolation and corporate indecision?
After six years of empirical research in Western Australia (2019–2025), I am pleased to share my latest paper: "Theory and Practice of Go Promotion: A Strategic Framework for Australia."
Through active community initiatives including the "Go Community Play" programs across six Perth libraries we've seen firsthand how Go (Weiqi/Baduk) serves as a powerful tool for reducing social isolation and building cognitive resilience.
Through the ‘Go Strategic Play’ method, we’ve also successfully integrated Go’s principles into the business sector, helping startups and corporate teams refine their decision-making and strategic thinking.
The Go Promotional Framework (GPF) My research outlines a scalable model built on four essential pillars:
Accessibility: Removing barriers to entry for all ages.
Inclusivity: Creating spaces where diverse groups feel welcome.
Engagement: Using active, participatory methods to spark interest.
Integration: Embedding Go into existing institutional and professional environments.
By leveraging institutional partnerships and cultural sensitivity, we can move Go from a niche hobby to a mainstream tool for social and professional development in Australia.
