Described as “a Roald Dahl character brought to life,” Veruca Sour embodies both the jazz chicken AND the egg. Winner of Mx Burlesque Western Australia 2017, troupe member of Sugar Blue Burlesque and co-founder of Perth’s q***r collective BurLEZque, this Gollum-adjacent creature has gained a reputation for their scientifically improbable facial contortions and unhinged theatricality.

With an illness that’s chronic and eyebrows so iconic, this cabaret deep sea fish will compel you with the power of jazz hands through her madcap brand of q***r anarchy and chaotic exuberance.
