With the variety of approaches that are coupled with marketing “lingo,” it does make the decision about what to choose even more difficult!

MAKING AN INFORMED CHOICE

There are

A FREE intensive therapy program?!?
Active Strides-CP is an NHMRC funded study and Healthy Strides is the West Australian site!
High quality research is so important - it is what moves the field forward by testing out new ideas that can potentially improve outcomes for children and young people with child-onset disabilities. Active Strides-CP brings together leading researchers and clinicians in Australia but most importantly, has been developed in true collaboration with children with cerebral palsy and their families.
Being involved in research is a great way to be part of the development of new knowledge. It is also a fantastic way to access therapy at no cost because it is completely funded by NHMRC. We are now in the final stages of the study so there is still an opportunity to get involved.
If you are interested in getting involved - head to our website or give us a call! We'd be happy to chat with you about it.

✨The Future is Coming! ✨
We spent our entire annual CG budget on this epic masterpiece! 😉
And don't mind the overdubs.... we're therapists not actors! We're not giving up our day-jobs...we love it too much! 🥰
Healthy Strides programs are now tentatively booked until December 2026. We are now accepting advance bookings for January 2027 and beyond.
We know that families are still navigating all the NDIS changes and we do have an active waitlist - circumstances are quite variable and we encourage families who have yet to confirm their therapy programs for the rest of the year to put their names down for the (2026) waitlist.
There is no lottery system, the waitlist is actioned on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition to the waitlist, we are still taking initial assessments for new families and future programs, and there are a number of (FREE) community programs and (fee-free) research programs:
🟢 Run Club at Baillie Hill (Tuesdays at 4pm) and
🔵 Story Time at Victoria Park library (Thursdays at 10:30am).
🟡 Active Strides-CP and
🟠 CPMovetime.
These amazing research and community-based programs may assist families who are looking for interventions that do not require any NDIS funding.
Contact the team via the link in our bio for more information.

Wow wow wow!!! Look what we did together! 😍
I don't know about you, but we're still on cloud 9 after yesterday's Move-a-thon. There was joy - pure joy in the air that was beautifully captured in last night's news report.
There is still so much Move-a-thon goodness to share and we will put it up through the week - but let's start with this pearler! ❤️

What a week! Hello Singapore!
This week, Dayna and Sophia visited the Healthy Strides Singapore team.
Apart from our stunning views there with our centre on the 17th floor 😯🤩, the team and the children are doing so incredibly well - we couldn't be more proud!
It's always about supporting our culture - our space, our team and constantly setting our standard of excellence in the therapy that we provide.
Our therapy is all about the START framework which is based on the latest research and is how we ensure that skills are really learnt and maintained beyond therapy - to truly make a difference in everyday lives and importantly enjoy the process!
Of course, we also spend our down time eating chicken rice and noodles 😋 whilst enjoying the humidity 😅
Now, we're off to visit our team in Malaysia!! 🇲🇾
