Metrocon is pleased to announce that construction has officially commenced on Stage 3 at Monument East.

Building upon our success with Stage 1, we're partnering once again with Locus Property to deliver an additional 14 two-storey townhouses for the new community in Fremantle. Upon completion in 2027, this will bring the total to 37 homes across both stages.

Each residence has been thoughtfully designed to offer the best of contemporary inner city living and features spacious three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom or four-bedroom, three-bathroom layouts that strike the perfect balance of style, comfort, and functionality.

Metrocon are thrilled to share that we have been awarded Stage 2 of the Mell Gardens Over-55s Development in Spearwood, which will see the construction of 41 new villas.

We’re proud to be delivering this project in partnership with the Aegis Group, alongside the well-established firm of Montague Grant Architects.

The villas are designed to combine style with functionality, featuring light-filled open-plan living and kitchen areas, two spacious bedrooms, a study (with select configurations offered without a study), private outdoor areas and a secure garage with convenient tandem visitor parking to each villa. To respond to the needs of our ageing community, thoughtful accessibility features are integrated throughout each home to support comfortable, independent living for residents.

Stage 3 will see the construction of a new gymnasium and library, designed by Marrochi Engineering Group to meet the recreational and educational aspirations of the College's growing Henley Brook community.

Our successful track record with the College at Forrestdale has opened the door to this new opportunity, and we're proud to now be delivering the same Stage 3 works across both sites. Alongside Marrochi Engineering Group and the wider project team, we're ready to bring the same excellence to Henley Brook and support the College's continued growth throughout Western Australia.

Metrocon is proud to announce our appointment for Stage 4 at Fountain College in Ferndale, following our successful completion of Stage 3. This phase will see the construction of a new Administration Building, delivered in collaboration with DWA Architects.

The new facility will feature a reception area and sickbay for students, a uniform shop, and key facilities for staff, including ten private offices, two staff rooms, conference and interview spaces, and a lunchroom.

We value our partnership with Fountain College and are excited to continue working with DWA Architects and all our project partners to deliver another state-of-the-art facility for the Ferndale community.

2025 was a record year for Metrocon, thanks to the commitment of our clients, partners, and staff. Together, we took on more projects, tackled greater complexity, and strengthened our capabilities across every site. As we kick off 2026, here’s a look back at the projects that defined our 2025 and set the platform for what’s set to be our strongest year to date:

1. Mandurah Catholic College – Stage 22
Major library upgrade complete, featuring a new roof and transformed internal spaces with two new classrooms, staff offices, two recovery rooms, and a welcoming student reception area.

2. Fountain College – Stage 3
New primary school building delivered with six classrooms, a library, IT lab, staffroom, and four admin offices, providing a modern learning hub for students.

3. Corpus Christi College Recladding
Recladding of the gymnasium and performing arts theatre modernised key campus facilities, safely delivered within a live school environment over six months.

4. 20 Cooper Street, Nedlands
A boutique collection of 10 bespoke apartments completed, setting a new benchmark for contemporary living in Nedlands.

5. Nouveau Nedlands
Art Deco-inspired development taking shape on iconic Broadway, comprising 17 residences across seven levels with ground-floor commercial tenancies and shared spaces.

6. Australian Islamic College Forrestdale – Stage 2
New double-storey high school building completed in time for the 2026 school year, with the specialist and admin facilities and canteen on track for completion in 2026.

7. La Salle College Boarding Facility
Construction commenced on this purpose-built boarding facility in Middle Swan, providing a modern, supportive living environment for the College’s boarding students.

8. Monument East
Design and construct delivery began on Stage 1, a collection of 23 architecturally designed townhouses that balance functionality with contemporary living.

9. Park Lane, Stirling
Design and construct of 22 two-storey townhomes in the heart of Stirling are taking shape, with completion targeted for mid-2026.

10. Sukha Residences
Construction is underway on the boutique development of six luxury double-storey townhouses in coastal Scarborough.

We’re excited to share that we have been awarded Stage 3 of the Australian Islamic College Perth in Forrestdale. This marks our third consecutive stage at the College, following the successful completion of Stage 1 and ongoing delivery of Stage 2.

The scope of works for Stage 3 includes the construction of a new state-of-the-art gymnasium and library, further expanding the College’s learning and recreational facilities to meet the needs of its growing Forrestdale community.

It will be a great privilege to build upon our valued partnership with the Australian Islamic College, and we look forward to working once again with architects Marrochi Engineering Group, and all our delivery partners to deliver this next milestone and support the College's vision for the future.

The project delivered a major upgrade to the college’s library building, including a new roof and a complete transformation of the internal spaces to accommodate two new modern classrooms, staff offices, two dedicated recovery rooms, and a welcoming student reception area. The outcome is a more functional and inviting campus environment, with spaces designed to better support student learning and staff productivity.

We’re thrilled to announce the practical completion of Stage 3 at Fountain College in Ferndale, delivered under a construct-only contract in partnership with DWA Architects.

The new primary school building represents a major upgrade to the campus, bringing together six modern classrooms, a new library, IT lab, staffroom, and four administrative offices in a cohesive facility designed to support the next generation of learners. Careful staging of works ensured construction progressed smoothly with minimal disruption to students and staff over the duration of works.

A huge credit goes to Fountain College, DWA Architects, and our wider network of subcontractors and team members for their role in the seamless delivery of this project. We’re proud to have played a part in shaping a vibrant and inspiring environment for the students and educators of Fountain College.

Metrocon has officially broken ground on Nouveau Nedlands, marking the start of construction with a soil-turning ceremony celebrated alongside project partners Griffin Group and Mark Aronson Architecture.

This bespoke Art Deco-inspired development will deliver 17 residences across seven levels to the iconic Broadway in Nedlands, with 13 two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments and the remaining 4 offering unique three-bedroom layouts with a private balcony or courtyard. Forming the social heart for the building on ground floor will be commercial tenancies and shared spaces, including communal gardens, a landscaped terrace, and a resident lounge.

Metrocon looks forward to collaborating with Griffin Group, Mark Aronson Architecture, and our wider project team to bring this distinctive development to life.
