OUTspoken Perth has been chosen to be a part of the Perth Poetry Festival 2015!! And we want YOU!!
This is the first time members of the LGBTQIA community has been given the opportunity to showcase their amazing talents at the festival! So be a part of history in the making!!
The event will be held at The Sparrow's Nest cafe on Friday August 14th

OUTspoken Perth OUTspoken is Perth's first Q***r performance poetry group. We welcome the LGBTQIA community to join us as part of the audience or as a performer.

Ladies, Gentlemen and everyone in between! Outspoken is back!! We are going to be a part of the Perth Poetry Festival 2015! Our event is booked for Friday August 14th, from 7.30-10.30pm... If you want to be a performer please register your interest here, and if you want to be a part of our audience keep your eyes peeled for ticket sales!!

OUTspoken is looking for poets to perform in front of a large audience (200ppl) at a Le***an film screening in June. All those interested please pm us! :D

Due to unforeseen circumstances OUTspoken will not be going ahead tonight... Our apologies to all of those who were planning to attend... We will make it up to you next fortnight!!! If you didn't have anything prepared for this edition, get pen to paper and we'll see you next time!!

New draft guidelines in Western Australian schools to tackle homophobia TEACHERS with same s*x partners would be encouraged to bring them to school social events and posters celebrating s*xual diversity would be put up in classrooms under guidelines to tackle homophobia in WA schools.
