OUTspoken is Perth's first Q***r performance poetry group. We welcome the LGBTQIA community to join us as part of the audience or as a performer.
We get together to listen to each others stories, enjoy each others company, learn from each others experiences and gain an insight into the minds and hearts of others in our community. This is not a poetry slam- it's not a competition, no one will be judging you, and there are no winners or losers. If you have something to say, OUTspoken would like to hear it! We welcome the LGBTQIA community to join us, either as part of the audience or as a performer. We also welcome parents and friends of the LGBTQIA to do the same. There are no age restrictions, and we accept members of every race, religion and gender. We only have four rules:
1) Your piece must be your own original work
2) Your piece must be Q***r themed
3) Your piece must not be derogatory, abusive or intend to harm others
4) Your piece must be less than 5 minutes long
No topic is taboo, so if you are easily offended perhaps OUTspoken is not the group for you. Please 'like' and 'share' our page so we can spread the word :)
