Recognising National Service and AWM Last Post Ceremony – 14 Feb 26 - Canberra

Coinciding with the 101st anniversary of the Army Order formalising the Australian Corps of Signals separation from the Australian Corps of Engineers being published, the Department of Veterans' Affairs Australian War Memorial will be recognising the 75th anniversary of National Service.

Also occurring on 14 Feb 26, The Australian War Memorial's Last Post Ceremony will commemorate Alexander Henry Young, a national serviceman and member of the 104th Signal Squadron who saw service, and died, in Vietnam in 1968.
