I’ve always felt that travel was more than discovering new places. I think of it as a portal into the different depths of who we are, revealing parts of ourselves that only emerge through change, challenge, and the unknown.
When I look at nature, I don’t just see a landscape. I see the story of everything that shaped it. The storms it weathered, the years of surrender, the forces that slowly carved it into what it is today.
Maybe we’re not so different.
The challenges we face, the heartbreaks, the uncertainty, the moments that ask us to begin again... they shape us too. They leave their marks, soften some edges, strengthen others, and reveal new layers of who we’re becoming.
That’s why I’ve always looked at the world with different eyes. Every coastline, every mountain, every horizon feels like a reminder that beauty is often found in what has been weathered, transformed and still stands.
Maybe that’s why I’ll always be a wanderer. 🍃

Reflecting on the climb and the feeling of it all. This was our latest Australian escapade in the Stirling Range National Park and Bremer Bay. Can’t believe I’ve lived here for ten years and still didn’t make it there yet - I underestimated the beauty of this park.
Seeing it for the first time with my own eyes. A nice break from the endless coastline, remember the irregularities of the mountains all around us, the height, the climb. The views are always worth it.
That hike also marked my first real climb since my ski accident. It was challenging but in the perfect way. Australia I’m grateful for you and what we’ve been through together.

Some moments captured at Nature’s Table, organised by the Pair'd Festival. A sensory feast of forest soundscapes and raw food created in nature. Truly amazing to see artistic cuisine brought to life in the wild.
