Sliders Softball

FINALS the day where the boys make history they are playing the game they love late start as the early games just finished and doing the presentations at the end so by the time they start it it was 4:30 and hour later then what they told them but anyway the boys played awesome its a 7 inning game DIG 1 :the boys take the field and 3 up 3 down with Kurt Payne on 2nd base throws to Andrew Terry on 1st base to make the out then Reece Taylor who K2 the other 2 batters score 0 . 6 batters Reece Taylor bringing Nathan Jordan home to score 1 . DIG 2: 5 batters outs made Rohan Terry on short stop throwing to Andrew Terry to make the out at 1, Reece Terry puts out on 3rd base and a fly catch by Steven Terry still no score . 5 batters with Kyle Beazley bringing Reece Terry home to score 1 so now the score is 2-0 . DIG 3 : This is the awesome part 5 batters a fly catch by Steven at left field an error by Kurt let a batter on bag a crack to left field which Steven fields it cleanly throws it home to the catcher Pete Hardy who tags the runner stopping him from scoring and a K2 from Reece Taylor and no score . A bad dig where they have not scored . DIG 4 : 5 batters and finally 1 sneaks through to score 1 now its 2-1. 7 batters with 2 down , Steven does a bunt makes it to 1st base Nathan has a walk and Peta hitting a 3 bagger to bring home 2 runners and Kurt bringing Peta home score is now 5-1 . DIG 5 : 5 batters Peta tagging a runner trying to steal home and didnt make and they let an other runner in to score a K2 from Kurt and a catch fly from Reece Terry now the score is 5-2 . they have an other bad dig 3 up 3 down they didnt do to good DIG 6 : what a brilliant dig 3 K2 with the help of andrew and peta making the outs at bat Steven got on base due to an error a K2 for nathan 3bag hit for peta a 2 bag hit for kurt and yes a HOME RUN for reece taylor bloody marvellous giving the total of 4 runs SCORE 9-2 .DIG 7 : 1 K2 from kurt and reece taylor and peta retiring the 2nd batter and yes kurt you done a great job K2 the last batter needless to say the boys did not need to bat as the final score is 9-2 and THEY ARE THE WINNERS SO SO PROUD OF THE BOYS THEY GAVE THEIR ALL AND AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY WERE AWESOME THE BEST ON THE FIELD GO BOYS YOU HAVE EARNED THE RIGHTS TO BRAG GO SLIDERS MINOR PREMIERS AND PREMIERS WOW WELL DONE BOYS
Div 7 boys didnt make it through the finals never mind in a way its ok as some of yous have never played before so its a learning process you learn a lot more as you play more of the game and know the rules as well WELL DONE

Division 3

well the B side played today some players still haven't got the grasp of getting to the ball game on time that's what you get when you only have 9 players when one gets to the game when he feels like it just waltz in not a care in the world anyway they lost they fought back but not good enough Reece hit a home run bringing himself and Andrew home Andrew catching 2 out and unlucky dropping 1 Shaun unlucky for not catching the foul one Dylan what a catch Neil missing 2nd base Alan you are getting there with your batting just need more hoomf George kicking the ball out giving the other side an extra base Rodney needs to take his time before throwing the ball and Gavin good try on 1st base and this team is not very vocal at all and they lost to Mets next game is on Friday night at 8:15 on diamond 1

ok now in the winter season and we have expanded to 2 teams A and B it was a bit of a nightmare to begin with its ok now the A side well they are doing great and so is the B side even though some of the B side never played before they are doing good and some not so good but you get that so far the A side won 6 and lost 1 and the B side won 3 and lost 3 so not bad .
Last night the A side played South Thornlie well what a game first the pitcher hurts his thigh then gets pulled up for illegal pitch so the pitcher does it right so good so far and in the middle of the game the pitcher pitch the ball and hits the catchers knee right in between the crease of the leggings and then well what can i say the boys are very very vocal and the other team does not like it at all once you have a go at the boys its on the boys are not sportsmen like the pitcher Kurt got i dont know what ball he pitched and got a strike out and out came the roar of the team and then as Andrew change with Peta as catcher my Andrew i tell you its very good to him and Kurt cheer when they strike out a batter and its not a quiet one thats for sure so they got to the other team because there was a player on their side that was abusing the team not in english thank goodness for that as the boys would of given him a what for and no matter what dirt they dish at the boys they gave it right back at them they even went and cried to the umpire to control the game what is it to control really they dish dirt at the boys expect to recieve it twice as bad and when it was the end of the game they went and shake hand the one that that Andrew told that he was out give him the birdie and they say the men are not sportsmen like right needless to say the men won 9 - 1 yeah congrats men for a game well played
Next game next Saturday at 1:30 diamond 8 again well done

Titans vs Sliders
what a shamble today was how can officials destroy a game these two teams have played so great before and never was there any dramas we win we lose its part of the game but today it was ruined the umpires could not keep the game under control the head umpire kept on threatening to eject Alan from the game needless to say it didn't happen how the guys kept their cool is beyond me i know you can't blame anyone but today the officials were to blame when our side batted no leway fifty cent piece and the other side well they could't do no wrong first started with Reece leaving the bag early then Nathan got hit on the back of his head then Matt got stood on his hand and got scratched and cut by the third base steel cleats then Rohan got hit by a runner when tagging and got told he was obstructing the runner well hey he had the ball and it all went sour from there the guys could not win an appeal they were always in the wrong no matter what the coach says he was in the wrong you just have to play the game and finish it wow no punches were thrown proud of these boys they stood tall and walked away we do lose gracefully its how things goes well done Sliders until next season you came second so you should be proud of yourselves

why does umpires ruin a great game

They played awesome today did a few errors but got it in the end yes needless to say they won now for next week the grand final Sliders vs. Titans well done Sliders
