Before you sign an Offer & Acceptance, make sure you understand exactly what is in it.
In WA, once a contract is accepted, it is binding, and there is no cooling-off period.
Having a settlement agent review the details can give you clarity on the conditions and help you avoid issues later.
If you want guidance before you sign, speak with our settlement agent.
Before you sign the Offer & Acceptance, have your settlement agent review it first.
In WA, the contract sets the tone for everything that follows, from conditions to settlement day.
A quick review early can help you spot issues, understand your obligations, and move forward with more confidence.
Know what you’re signing before it becomes binding.

Once your Offer & Acceptance is signed, the details matter.
Waiving a finance condition too early can mean giving up protection before settlement.
A smoother settlement starts with knowing what your contract is really saying.

Subject to valuation” isn’t finance approval, it’s the bank saying, “we’ll confirm after the val comes back.”
In WA, this catches buyers when O&A deadlines hit and they think finance is “done”.
Treat it as conditional until your lender/broker confirms it in writing.
Have you been told “approved” and later realised it was subject to valuation, what happened?

Happy Labour Day 🤍
Public holiday timelines can get tight, so we stay across the fine print, key dates, and coordination with agents, brokers, banks and strata, keeping settlement clear, calm, and on track.

John’s words sum up what we aim for at Rezzi Conveyancing: professional, organised, and proactive communication, so you’re kept in the loop at every stage and the process feels seamless.
Buying or selling in WA comes with enough moving parts, your settlement shouldn’t be one of them.

Clarity matters, but preparation matters more. The right plan (and the right support) is what keeps settlement week calm, not chaotic.
From 1 July 2026, AML/CTF checks will extend to property transactions. In WA, where contracts move fast, leaving ID and verification to the end can create avoidable delays under pressure.
If you’re buying in Perth, don’t rely on “we’ll sort it later” when the timelines are tight.

Buying property in WA? Here’s a calm heads-up for 2026.
From July 2026, conveyancers will also be required to check ID and source of funds as part of settlement.
For most buyers, this won’t change much, it just helps to have documents ready a little earlier so things stay smooth.
Nothing to stress about. Just clarity, so there are no surprises later.
