Able Printer Repair

One Canon Pixma G6060 was brought in with print quality issue. First, it was found that the printer came with 5200 error, indicates that the printheads were having problem, after cleaning the contact points, the error was gone, however, the printer did not print anything, and it was found that most of the ink tubes were completely empty. Having flushed the ink system, the printer was back in good working condition again.

One customer brought in a HP Color LaserJet CM5225 printer with multiple errors. Error 59.F0 frequently popped up and unable to use the printer, even when it was able to print, the print quality was far from acceptable. This error is Transfer Alienation Failure, which is caused by a sticky solenoid. Having taken many parts and accessed to the solenoid, the solenoid was serviced and cleaned. Having put everything back together again, the printer also had paper feed issue at the exit bin, the entire printer pickup rollers etc., were cleaned and service. Finally, the printout also had streaks of lines appearing on printout, it was found that the Intermediate Transfer Belt (ITB) had too much waste toner in the collection chamber, having cleaned all the waste toner, the printout was fine, and printer back in good working condition again.

One Canon Pixma G3630 printer was brought in with carriage movement error. It was found that the encoder strip was dislodged and one side of the encoder strip was smeared with ink. After adjusting the dislodged encoder strip, the printer was back in good working condition again.

One Xerox Docuprint CM405df printer was brought in with print quality issue. Streaks of lines appear on printout. It was found that the Intermediate Transfer Belt (ITB) was the cause. After replacing the ITB and transfer roller. The printer was back in good working condition again.

One Epson TM-220 receipt printer was brought in for general service. It was cleaned, lubricated, checked and tested. And was back in good working condition, as good as new, all done within an hour.

A Brother MFC J890fw printer was brought in not printing black. After flusing the printhead, printer was back in good condition again, all done within 1 hour.

An Epson ET 4800 printer was brought in that needed maintenance box replaced. After replacing maintenance box and reset the maintenance counter, printhead nozzles cleaned, printer was back in good working condition again. All done within 2 hours.

One Epson ET M1180 came with not printing anything at all. Totally blank page. After the print head was flushed and cleaned, printer was back in good working condition again. Finished within 2 hours.

An Epson ET 7750 printer came in with Maintenance Box that needed to be replaced. The customer asked several service providers and was advised that the printer is too closely to repair.
Customer brought it to us, and we replaced the maintenance box, cleaned the service station, printer was back in good working condition again. All done within one hour.

An HP Color LaserJet 2600n printer came in with blurry magenta and yellow colors. Even after replacing the toner cartridges, the printout quality did not improve. Once the glasses of the laser scanner unit were cleaned and serviced, the printout became clear crisp and solid. Printer was back in good working condition again.

A Brother MFC9330CDW printer came in with dented imprints on printouts as shown in pictures. The cause was a damaged fuser roller. Having replaced the fuser unit, performed general service, upgraded the firmware, printer was back in good working condition again. Done within 2 hours.
