ATTA Winter Series

Our series of 4 TTs over Winter commences next Sunday, June 7th at Champion Lakes. As usual we are reliant on sufficient volunteers to run each race. If you can help out please let us know at [email protected]. We still need 2 more helpers for next Sunday to keep people of the event path at the residential end of the course.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - June 7th

The Winter by the Lakes series begins at Champion Lakes on June 7th. We currently need volunteers for every role. If you would like to fill one of the following roles, please let us know at [email protected]. If you don't mind which position you fill, but would like to volunteer anyway, rest assured you will be used where most needed.

Volunteer Position
- Desk manager
- Starter
- Starter's assistant
- Bridge traffic coordinator
- Residential area (x2)

Previous experience is not essential, and you can be trained as required on the day.

Volunteers receive $50 to cover expenses, some of which can be used at the coffee van provided.

Huge kudos to WA trio Ben O’Connor, Michael Storer and Jai Hindley for their performances in Tuesday’s time trial at the Giro. All three have been familiar faces at ATTA races down the years, and many of us remember them zooming past us in the teenage years. And a big thank you to Ben O’Connor for his free advertising of ATTA during his post ride interviews. To quote:

"It suits me, so I'm not complaining. I don't mind it. It reminds me of all the time trials I grew up doing back home in ATTA [Australian Time Trial Association], 40km TTs in the Perth countryside, so it's my bread and butter. It's what we grew up with. This one hurt a lot."

Season Close - Volunteers Needed

Our season close TT is next week on Sunday 10th at Champion Lakes. We need several more volunteers, including starter. starter's assistant, desk, someone managing traffic on the bridge, and a couple of people at the residential end. 160KM TT CHAMPIONSHIPS || 19 APRIL

This weekend we are hosting the 160km (yes, you read that right) TT championships!! Come join us at the Northlink course for four laps of a 40km flat out and back loop. For those of you who don’t immediately want to jump on their TT bike for 160km, there is a 40km and 80km option.

Registrations are essential and close 16th April at 6pm ⚠️
