✨ New Blog Post from Anna ✨

We’re proud to share a powerful and deeply personal piece written by our peer worker, Anna: “What I’ve Learned From Living With Bipolar Disorder for 20 Years.”

Stories like Anna’s are a reminder of the strength, insight and compassion that lived experience brings to peer work 💚

Pregnancy With ADHD: My Honest Journey Through Medication, Fatigue & Gestational Diabetes — The Peer Practice 28/02/2026

“Is this ADHD… or just pregnancy?” has become a regular internal broadcast over here, and honestly, half the time I still don’t know the answer!

This season has been full of joy, exhaustion, plot twists, medication changes, meltdowns over broken toast, hyperfocus baby prep, and a whole lot of deep breaths. Being pregnant while neurodivergent is… a journey. A very wiggly, emotional, hilarious, tender journey.

So I wrote a blog about it! The real stuff, the messy stuff, the ‘is this normal?’ moments, and the parts no one tells you about. If you’re navigating pregnancy with a neurodivergent brain too, I hope this one makes you feel seen.

You’re not alone. You’re not failing. Your brain and your body are doing so much at the same time... and you’re doing beautifully.
