Four years ago, we met by chance—sat on the beach with your lovely mum, and I said, “I could do wonders with Flo’s hair.”
And here we are, four years later, doing your hair for the very last time.

What an incredible journey it’s been—two hours in my chair, taming those beautiful, bouncy curls (and there’s so much hair! 🤣).

As I begin the next chapter and move over to Australia, this is where I’ll be sharing all my before & after transformations — plus a few cheeky glimpses into my new life in Oz 🇦🇺🌞

A little about me for those who don’t know me…

I’m 49, a proud mum to two amazing kids: Florence (14) and Stanley (11).
Born and bred in North London, I’ve been obsessed with hair since I was 12 — when I used to (naughtily!) bunk off school to hang out in the salon, helping out and soaking up every bit of knowledge I could. (Sorry, not sorry Mum & Dad! 🙈)

That little salon I used to sneak off to? I ended up working there — and later managing a few salons in the same group.

At 30, I fancied a change and moved to Birmingham to work in a family-run salon… and that’s where I met my lovely ginger husband (a Dover lad ❤️). We eventually moved to Deal in 2010, and in 2015 I opened Reds Lounge — my own little slice of hair heaven.

I have a huge passion for curly hair (being a curly girl myself, I get the struggle), but honestly? I just LOVE hair — curly, straight, wavy, coloured, cut, blow-dried… it’s all my happy place.

And let’s be honest — I’m not your average hairdresser. If you come see me, you’ll not only leave with luscious locks, but you’ll probably get a good laugh too. 😉
