Cute little Lab x Cocker Spaniel Yala is learning some manners with her doggie cousin Finn, while he learns how to accept her presence. Dogs don’t always automatically get on with each other. Careful management & short, supervised interactions are key to forming acceptance and companionship. 🐶❤️🐶

Who doesn’t love a dachshund?? These two good boys have been working so hard on walking nicely on the lead and not barking at visitors! And I’d say, they’ve just sbout got it! Proof that putting in 5-10mins training a day really works. It’s not easy training two dogs at the same time but Thor and Odin’s mum shows it’s possible… and rewarding!

Cute little Ollie needs a little help with relaxing! He loves his mum so much he follows her everywhere. 😍 While this is really cute, Ollie also needs to learn that he can chill out. He’s also a bit of a 4-feet-off-the-floor jumper around food! Not good for that long back, so he’s learning some impulse control. None of this is easy when you’re a teenager, but he’s making a start. 🐾🐶

Moose did such a good job with his loose lead walking. He’s only been in his new home a few weeks and is setting in well. He’s still finding it difficult to be left alone so we’ll help him feel more settled and safe, provide mental and physical enrichment before leaving and build up to longer periods of time gradually. He’s a lovely, sweet boy.

Doris is finding the world a little scary just now. We worked on building trust by asking for voluntary behaviours and not pushing her boundaries.
We made it outside for a gentle, slow walk where she was able to relax and connect with her guardian when things go scary. We were so proud of her! She was able to relax and snooze off the excitement, exhausted after her adventure.
