The Journey Through My Mirrror art show and Book launch event was a wonderful weekend to bring communit together.

Thankyou to artists who interpreted the them through some exceptional pieces.

To author Adams on choosing First Line Productions to publish and host his second edition launch.

And to the local vendors who kicked started the weekend collaboration of all things crrarive at our indoor winter market.

The feedback from guests and participants had been wonderful and the offerings of community, conversation and creativity has refilled my heart.

Feeling blessed to give my time and energy to support and host events like this.

These weekends remind me of my purpose - Thankyou everyone.

Small free workshop this morning as the final installment of community events as part of the Blossom Project initiated by Lily Gaulton Disability Advocate, Author .

Today we looked at breaking down written narratives to create film sequencing.

What are the moments of conflict - drama - suspense and consequences?

What visuals do we actually need to create a steoy board?

What other aspects need to be considered when choosing the images you want to capture for the big screen?

It was a pleasure guiding this all ages workshop..

My next community project is an abstract artistic micro film about mental health.

Lead Actress 18+
Needs strong facial and emotional portrayals. Poetic dialogue throughout with a sounscape to carry the emotional shifts.

Filming will be in August in a Saturday morning and/or Thur night.

New Book!

I am so proud to announce that my first two children's book in the Sally Series are now for available.

Plus Size Sally is a journey of an lottlengirl who didn't know her body would change when you grew up and reminds her through every stage that she is beautiful. That her body does not define her true happiness.

The story shows other children and parents alike that all sized bodies matter. Success, friendships, love, health, social interactions and positivity are equally valued and deserve in plus sized women.

Lily Gaulton Disability Advocate, Author launched her debut book late last year and is now in the first stages of developing a feature film adaptation of her book.

PHASE 1
A 5 minute documentary and gipm trailer project.

This will be happening locally in Rockingham and we are seeking the following cast and crew.

Auditions will take place in Rockingham on April 28th 3.30 - 5pm

Successful applicants must he able to attend both filming sessions - May 12th and May 19th 3.30pm - 6pm

No experience necessary as we are offering opportunity to emerging creatives to work with industry professionals.

Please be aware this is an unpaid project suporting youth. If a successful application lives outside of the Rockingham area, a minimal travel bursary will be paid.

Ben Findlay of Deafingo launched his debut children's book last week at a free community event.

It was my absolute honour to mentor Ben in the final stages of bringing his concept to reality; adding the children's book, Super Deafingo to First Line Productions portfolio.

The event was planned by the very supportive Jenni Crowther and sponsored by the City of Cockburn.
