To complilment the launch of an amazing memoir "Journey Through my Mirror" by Steven Adams we are bringing artists together to showcase original works that fit the theme of self reflection.

We will be accepting all mediums and both emerging and professional artists.

Registration to exhibit is only $20 and no commission is taken for sold works.

Lily Gaulton Disability Advocate, Author launched her debut book late last year and is now in the first stages of developing a feature film adaptation of her book.

PHASE 1
A 5 minute documentary and gipm trailer project.

This will be happening locally in Rockingham and we are seeking the following cast and crew.

Teen Girl (aged 10 -14)

Dog Walker (Aged 20+)

Auditions will take place in Rockingham on April 28th 3.30 - 5pm

Successful applicants must he able to attend both filming sessions - May 12th and May 19th 3.30pm - 6pm

No experience necessary as we are offering opportunity to emerging creatives to work with industry professionals.

Please be aware this is an unpaid project suporting youth. If a successful application lives outside of the Rockingham area, a minimal travel bursary will be paid.

Focus on Ability Short Film Festival

Ben Findlay of Deafingo launched his debut children's book last week at a free community event.

It was my absolute honour to mentor Ben in the final stages of bringing his concept to reality; adding the children's book, Super Deafingo to First Line Productions portfolio.

The event was planned by the very supportive Jenni Crowther and sponsored by the City of Cockburn.

Last December I stepped into a new role of teaching an all inclusive adult drama group - Act One.

This wasn't a job I went looking for or applied for, it found me... after my name was recommended to the program manager.

12 weeks in, wirh the wonderful support of Noni Comben I am pleased to say I feel like I belong in this role.

The joy and growth we get to witness each week when we raise confidence and communication with each participant is really special.

We decided in January to formulate our classes based on an A - Z of themes that thr group pick.

D: Disco and Dragons
E: Eggs and Emotions

It's now been 8weeks since I decided to step in as a presenter for community radio IPL Radio (Inspire Radio)

My show is Monday mornings 6am -9am, keeping the Sunday vibes alive and interviewing everyday people who have time and kindness to simply share a little piece of who they are.
