Approaching maternity leave!
At this stage I will not be taking on new clients, for existing clients- I will be available for follow up consultations for the remainder of the month. From June onwards I will be on maternity leave, taking some time to prepare for the arrival of our little guy! 🧡✨

Eating on the go or at your desk and feeling bloated and tired an hour later?
You may want to consider HOW you eat.
When you’re focused (and especially when your feeling stressed) on getting somewhere or getting something done your body signals a set of responses, moving the blood circulation away from the gut, making it harder for your body to digest foods.
A few things that can help:
🌿 If you can, get out of the office to a nearby park or under a tree. Nature is the best free calming & grounding source available. .
🧘🏼 Take some deep long breaths to calm your nervous system before eating.
🐌 Eat slowly. Take your time to chew your food properly, there are enzymes in the mouth that help you break down your food. Start with smaller bites and chew until the food is liquified or has lost all of its texture before swallowing. Avoid drinking too much fluid when eating, some small sips are ok.
💛 Consider seeing a Naturopath, especially if your stress and digestive issues are chronic. There are beautiful herbal medicines that can help here. Or/and you may benefit from some gut healing too.

Tabouli w a smart swap // h**p seeds instead of bulgur wheat
Going on a wheat, gluten or dairy free diet for health reasons doesn’t mean you have to go without. You just need to find some smart swaps 😉 - a big part of personalised nutrition.
What’s awesome about this dish:
🌿Contains bulk parsley- parsley is highly antioxidant, contains vitamins and minerals beneficial for skin and immune health, kidney detoxification and blood purification 👊🏼
💚Hemp seeds- high in protein 💪🏼 and essential fatty acids (store in the fridge for this reason)
Recipe:
1 bunch parsley chopped
1 small tomato
2-3 tbsp h**p seeds
1/2 a cucumber (not traditional either but really freshened it up and added some crunch👌🏼)
Dressing: 1 tbsp olive oil & a squeeze of lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.

Change.. in plans
With everything that’s going on, the transfer to Sydney has been postponed. So, I’ll be in Darwin for 6 more months! 🌴🌞
Clinic updates:
• Clinic days will resume 10am - 6pm, Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s
• Acute consultations will expand from immunity to include sleep & stress issues, so if you are feeling impacted in any of these areas you can book in for an acute consult via the website -(link in bio)
• Skype consultations are preferred at this time, with herb and supplement delivery available.
