❤️ World Heart Rhythm Week 2026
This week shines a spotlight on arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythms) and the importance of awareness, early detection and personalised care.
This year's theme, Your Heart, Your Rhythm, Your Story, reminds us that every heart rhythm journey is different. Symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and recovery can vary from person to person.
By sharing experiences and listening to patient stories, we can help improve understanding, raise awareness and support better outcomes for those living with heart rhythm disorders.
Visit to learn more about World Heart Rhythm Week and read patient stories.

Are you experiencing leg pain, swelling, skin discolouration or heaviness in your legs? These symptoms may be more than everyday discomfort and could be signs of an underlying vascular condition.
Early assessment and treatment can play an important role in identifying circulation issues before they progress.
Common symptoms can include:
• Leg pain or cramping, especially when walking
• Swelling in the legs or ankles
• Skin colour or temperature changes
• Slow-healing wounds or ulcers
• Varicose veins or a feeling of heaviness in the legs
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, speak with your GP about whether a vascular assessment or specialist referral may be appropriate.

This week marked an incredible milestone as we celebrated 10 years with Jake Le Roux at Access Cardiology.🎉
Over the past decade, Jake has been an integral part of our organisation and a steady face for both patients and team members who have likely seen him around our clinics over the years.
As our Head Sonographer, Jake does so much behind the scenes to support our doctors, staff, patients, and wider business. His loyalty, leadership, reliability, and commitment to high-quality patient care have played a huge role in shaping the team and culture we have today.
Thank you, Jake, for everything you have contributed over the past 10 years. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Access Cardiology family.

This Heart Health Week is a reminder to check in on your heart health and overall wellbeing ❤️
Regular activity, healthy habits, managing stress, and routine check-ups can all play an important role in reducing your risk of heart disease.
If you’re 45 years or older and don’t already have heart disease, speak to your GP about a Heart Health Check. It’s a simple assessment that helps identify your risk of heart attack or stroke and what you can do to lower it.
Prevention starts with awareness.
