PREVIOUSLY ON TEXT ROULETTE:

'Fiona' wanted to text 'John' after a weird date ended awkwardly. He works at her fave bookstore and she didn't want to break up with the bookstore just to avoid seeing him. She wanted things to be ok if they saw each other again.

We drafted a text together that she sent on the night.

I caught up with her to see what happened after - this is what she said:

"So I heard back from 'John' and he was so genuinely happy to stay friends. We've been chatting about books and although it was a bit awkward, we did see each other again at the bookstore."

Adam wanted to text a potential date from a dating site after they'd exchanged phone numbers but not many texts.

We wrote a text, which he sent, and he's now got a date! 😍🥰🥳

'Rizzo' texted 'Volleyboy', a previous fling. She wanted to let him know that when he was back in town for a holiday, that they should hook up again.

We drafted a text together and she chose SEND.

I asked 'Rizzo' for an update - “I think the text bounced, because he has an international number! I find myself wondering ‘what if’ all the time now. I think he’s coming back from Europe again soon…and since I have this excellent little paragraph, maybe I’ll try Messenger next time…”

Ms Bucket wanted to text a family member about feeling like his new partner was overshadowing their relationship, and that their communication wasn't as in-depth as it could be.

She pressed 'SEND', and got a reply during the show!
He said he was looking forward to spending some one-on-one time with her, and that no topic will be off-limits next time they hang out.

We workshopped a few options, and she chose to SAVE the text.

I asked her for an update and she said:

"While I never sent my complete text, the Text Roulette experience encouraged me to step back and really re-evaluate what I wanted out of my sitch. I ditched the one who was subconsciously f**kboi-ing me around and am now in a very happy and healthy relationship :)"
