This National Reconciliation Week, we celebrate and honour our Aboriginal brothers and sisters — the world’s oldest living culture, rich in wisdom, creativity, connection
and care for Country. 🖤💛❤️
Officially opened by Whadjuk Custodian Carol Innes last October, here at Oceanic Wellbeing,we are proud to support emerging and established Aboriginal artists, including Rekeesha Goodwin, whose powerful artworks exhibited in in our practice, connect us deeply to her Country which includes the ocean.
We acknowledge and celebrate those who were, are, and always will be, speaking for this beautiful Country
where we live, work and play.
As strange as this may seem, so often I sit with teams where people have never had the opportunity to truly connect
with an Aboriginal person.
We encourage everyone to reach out within your community — sit together, listen, learn and open your heart.
You will be forever richer for it.
Pressure is something we all experience - whether it’s in sport, work, study, relationships, or everyday life.
Performance psychology isn’t about getting rid of nerves or anxiety completely; it’s about learning how to work with them, stay grounded, and perform at your best even in high-pressure moments.
Issy is available on Tuesday at Oceanic Wellbeing, supporting clients with confidence, performance, mindset, and managing pressure.

Ever wondered why telling yourself “Don’t eat chocolate” only makes you crave it more? There’s actually a fascinating reason behind it, and it applies to anxiety too.
This Saturday at 9:30am, our Co-Founder .harris.psychologist joins on for the Mental Health Check-In segment, exploring why the way we talk to ourselves matters more than we think.
It’s a conversation about ironic process theory and attention bias, that might just change how you approach your own mind.
