OPEN CALL -> Irohas Community Exhibition

We’re inviting you to submit your images for the upcoming Irohas Community Exhibition.

Submission deadline: May 22

This open call is centered around the theme Red ❤️

Red is a color that can be bold or subtle, loud or intimate. It might appear as a striking accent like lipstick in a portrait, a glowing street sign, the texture of a painted wall, or even in the smallest overlooked details. Whether it’s vibrant and attention-grabbing or quietly woven into a scene, red has the power to shape mood and meaning. We encourage you to have fun and be creative with this theme, we want to see a wide range of interpretations to help make the exhibition diverse and exciting. From still life and street photography to travel scenery and beyond, everything is welcome.

The images shown in this post are examples of how the theme can be interpreted and are here to inspire your submissions.

If you shoot film and enjoy capturing the world with intention, we’d love to see your work.

Submission details:

* Images must be shot on film
* You must be an Irohas customer (Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney customers are all welcome—please let us know which lab you usually go to)
* Maximum of 3 images per participant
* Images must respond to the theme Red

After weeks of testing, we are excited to introduce our Ultra Hi-Res film digitalisation service, powered by our new medium format scanning setup.
With this system, we are able to bring out the most natural colours and the finest detail hidden within your film, delivering results that truly reflect the character of each frame.
This service is available for all film formats—from 110 all the way up to 8×10. Whether it’s half-frame or 6×17, each single frame is meticulously scanned, and individually calibrated by our technicians.
For the first two weeks, we are offering 50% off all scans using this system, bringing the price to $25 per roll. After this promotional period, the standard price will be $50 per roll, for large format scanning, please feel free to dm for detailed information.
And as always, we take care of your film just like our own; this service is here to take this further. By setting this system up, we as a team want to bring you a whole new experience with film and discover the beauty of what we love.

Easter opening times🐣

Irohas Perth will be closed on Good Friday.
But we will be open Saturday 11am - 5pm
And Easter Monday 11am - 5pm as usual!
