It's been a while since I did a get up stupid early to catch photos thing, and I thoroughly loved it.
The sunrise didn't play nice, but the clouds sure did!

Oops i did it again!
Yep, it's been a long time, but I caught myself out yesterday.
I headed out bright and early to the Tambourine Mountain Botanical Gardens, the weather was gorgeous, grab camera from car, check lens and oh no!!!! No SD card and no spare.
Back to the best camera you have is the one with you, what would we do without our phone cameras 😎🤣👌

Welcome and thanks for dropping on by.
I often get asked ‘why the name towander’? That’s a very good question.
It goes way back to a movie called Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe. Now this was a cracker of a movie and still is one of my favourites. I think you need to see the movie to get the full picture and power of towanda, however, the quick version is, this is the battle cry of someone taking their power and stepping up in life. It has been my handle on the internet for many a year, going way way back to the IRC days, and it felt fitting to be my name going forward to share my passion for photography, travel and life.
