There is no way that public services will be able to be delivered in the manner that they're being delivered with a cut to the workforce of that size. Our members are at the heart of every public service. Our members are in fact at the heart of the way government runs at all.

Every worker needs somebody at their back, raising their voice and fighting for their jobs. Our union has been doing that for over 120 years. We're not going to stop to that now."

CPSU/CSA regional members and delegates have campaigned fiercely to secure improvements to the District Allowance Agreement. Last week, we received an offer from Government, which is now being balloted by eligible members.

We thank members for their patience during this planned outage.

This week your employer, this Labor Government, will seek to ratify their public sector cuts; finalising and determining which agencies and workforces will once again be asked to do more with less. When these jobs are cut, the work will fall to those who remain and scar their own workforce. SHAME!

This morning we started visible action by reminding the WA Government that, unlike them, the CPSU/CSA will not abandon public sector workers. Together, we wobble-boarded on the freeway bridge near Parliament, and got a lot of honks of support.✊

The WA Cabinet need to hear a clear message that cuts to public services are SHAMEFUL. Keep your eye out for a VTSS email update so you can sign up to join us next time! 💪

Regional members will be able to continue voting for the District Allowance offer during this time, without disruption.

Through relentless campaigning, regional members and delegates received an offer replacing the District Allowance Agreement, which is now being balloted by eligible members.

This ballot will close on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Receiving this offer is an incredible win after months of campaigning across the state and demonstrates the strength of collective action. Well done to everyone involved!
