Stu took part in a 2 day stand-up comedy workshop run for veterans to help with resilience and foster engagement within the service and ex-service community.
Yesterday, each of the participants said their piece in front of a packed RSL bar in the City of Perth, having only started to prepare material the previous morning. Everyone did amazingly and they were all buzzing as they walked off the stage and celebrated their achievement.

We are reunited with our bikes, just over 1 year since we left them with our friends, John and Holly, in Dallas.
Our goal for 2024 was to start our new life in Western Australia and somehow we've just managed to pull that off with the final piece...the arrival of the bikes. For over 6 months they were parked up, waiting for us to get to Australia and then figure out how to ship them home. We used Bikes Abroad who arranged collecting them from John and Holly, trucking them to Los Angeles and then shipping them to Sydney. The bikes cleared customs and immigration relatively easily, then Janell and Weeti embarked on a roadtrip from Perth to Sydney to Perth to bring them home.
We are now the proud owners of a trailer which will surely come in handy đ

We finally made it to Australia đĨŗ
We only visited Sydney for a day trip and unfortunately it was a wet one, but we were still soooooo excited to get photos of our girls at these iconic locations.
We're still waiting for our Vehicle Permits. Hopefully over the summer months we'll tour our home country before giving the girls the retirement they deserve.

This couple set off on a motorbike world tour with their beloved dog. Then tragedy struck | CNN Janell and Stu Clarke began their odyssey with dog Skyla almost 10 years ago. Now, the couple have returned home with three rescue dogs they picked up along the way.

Our time in New Zealand is coming to an end. It's been more of an administrative visit but now having spent 6 months here the girls are eligible to enter Australia quarantine free đ
Other than seeing out the time and getting one other blood test, the NZ to Australia process is very straightforward. All our vet and government appointments are booked as are our Air NZ flights into the Gold Coast.
Two weeks to go and we'll finally have our girls on Australian soil, en route to their forever home.
