🌟 Exploring pathways and possibilities at Curtin!
On Thursday 6 August, Mindy Oxenburgh, Co-ordinator of First Nations Student Support in the School of Education, joined the Follow the Dream Student Expo at Curtin University’s Centre for Aboriginal Studies (CAS).
Follow the Dream is a program run by the Polly Farmer Foundation that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to build confidence, develop aspirations and achieve their goals at school and beyond.
More than 200 students from metropolitan and regional schools attended the Expo, exploring the many possibilities available to them through further study at Curtin, including pathways into teaching! 👩🏫🎓
Mindy also joined CAS at the Wheatbelt Careers Expo in Northam on Wednesday 12 August, connecting with young people from the region and sharing information about the opportunities available to them for their future.
It’s always fantastic to meet and connect with young community members and help them see the many possibilities that lie ahead. 💜
